Automatik/Gala Underwater Pelletizing System up to 22,000 lbs.hour – New 2010

Automatik / Gala model SPHERO 220 underwater pelletizing system. Unit is rated at up to 22,000 pounds per hour.  – New  2010.

460V/3ph/60Hz operation.

The system consists of the following components:

A) Hydraulically actuated start up value with an 11 kW hydraulic pump.

B) Liquid heated die plate with a Sterlco model M2B6017-L, 80 kW oil heater.

C) A 60HP, 36 knife cutter head with a pneumatically adjustable knife shaft.

D) A cutting chamber with a tangential water supply and pellet drain.

E) Movitech model VSF90/4-2B water tempering system with a FUNKE model plate type heat exchanger.

F) A 7.5HP spin dryer with an agglomerate catcher and a 1.5HP blower motor (missing the motor).

G) A free-standing control panel.

H) A support structure for the cutter, cutting chamber, hydraulic pump, hydraulic vale, and operator controls.
